Scholar Fund: Helping Whatcom County Residents Shape Their Future!

Do you know what’s in your city or county’s comprehensive plan? Across Washington state right now, local government officials are planning how your neighborhoods will grow and change. A comprehensive planning process is a way for all of us to have a voice in shaping those goals and policies.

Scholar Fund has been partnering with the Washington Department of Commerce to encourage our communities to participate in their comprehensive planning processes! In particular, we are collaborating with Whatcom County to help residents learn more about these local efforts and help the County achieve more inclusive participation.

Are you a Whatcom County resident or know someone who lives in any of these cities?

If you live in Bellingham, Lynden, Everson, Birch Bay, Deming, Blaine, Ferndale, Maple Falls, Birch Bay, Sumas, Point Roberts, Custer, Sudden Valley, Nooksack, Acme, Glacier, Kendall, Marietta-Alderwood, Peaceful Valley or Geneva you live within Whatcom County! Your voice is important in building a future for your community!

If you need help understanding the survey, ask us! Email us (in English or Spanish) at [email protected] or call us at 206-210-2788.

Not a Whatcom resident? Check out your county’s comprehensive planning processes and share your input:
